The August issue is a little different than the previous four issues. Normally I write a few articles and preview some of my guest posts. This time I wrote the feature article and it was about 5500 words so it’s pretty substantial.
It’s all about why sales and marketing is the lifeblood of any business. I take a look at some of the mistakes many businesses are making and then provide some solutions on how they can improve their efforts.
Of course all of this dovetails into my core business at Razor Smart Marketing and my consulting for small business. It’s a combination of the strategies I use that are part of the power marketing network I belong to. It’s from learnings from some of the best sales and marketing folks in the business world. And it’s from my own many years of experience working with people in both large and small businesses, seeing what works and being nimble enough to keep up and take advantage of the fast pace and change in business today.
The beauty of it is…some of the most important things haven’t changed in hundreds of years. Can you guess what it is? It’s how humans react and think about things when it comes to being sold. This is why the strategic marketing messaging is so important to form the basis of the marketing plan and the communications across multiple channels.
